Bethany, MO: Over the weekend, the South Harrison Theatre Department put on their production of Ken Ludwig’s The Game’s Afoot. The play took place Friday and Saturday evening, as well as Sunday afternoon, with tickets selling out all weekend. The theatre was packed with people eager to experience the thrilling mystery presented by the story as well the various gut-busting moments of comedy that were sprinkled throughout the play. The story of the play follows William Gillette, a famous actor and playwright, along with his many friends and cast members that are thrust into the middle of a mystery when an attempt is made on Gillette’s life. Things take a turn for the worse when a murder occurs in the very manor the group is staying in and chaos breaks out amongst the remaining members of the residence. It was a thrilling play, with plenty of mystery and comedy for any audience.–Republican Clipper photo, Brady Sunderland
