Dr. Jack McCall, right, places one of the wreaths at the Veterans’ monument. The other wreaths were presented by Ron Osmon, Glenn Harrold, Tyler McFall, Jake Taylor, Alan Guernsey and Butch Osmon. The ceremony honors members of the military who have served this country in times of peace and war. Similar events were held at precisely the same time at Arlington Cemetery in Washington, D.C., and thousands of other cemeteries across the nation.
