Bethany, MO: South Harrison sophomore Hannah Carter races down the court through the Marceline defenders during the Lady Bulldogs’ 44-33 victory over the Lady Tigers during the first round of the Class 3, District 16 tournament in Bethany. South Harrison advanced to the semifinal round to play top-seeded Milan last night (Tuesday) at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. In another first-round girls’ game, Trenton defeated Brookfield 59-27 and Carrollton crushed Penney 50-16 to advance to the semifinals Tuesday night at NCMC.
