South Harrison Softball adds two wins and a loss

Bethany, MO: The South Harrison Lady Bulldogs softball team was victorious against Penney with a final score of 4-1. The game started off with a scoreless first inning. However, the Lady Bulldogs quickly took control at the bottom of the first. Bailey Barnetts shot a sacrifice fly that brought in the first run. Penney fought back in the top of the second inning, scoring one run to tie the game at 1-1. Ambrey Hunter was credited with staggering 11-fielded outs throughout the game, proving to be an invaluable team player. The pivotal moment came in the bottom of the fourth inning when Ambrey stepped up to bat and hit a powerful home run, giving her team a crucial lead. Rory Fitzgerald also contributed with a home run of her own later in that same inning.
