Personal Best: Carter Morton sets a record high jump of 6’7” while competing at the Buena Vista University indoor high school elite boys high jump. Morton is the grandson of James and Linda Barber of Bethany.
Carter Morton, a junior at Greene County high school in Jefferson, Iowa, won the Buena Vista University indoor high school elite boys high jump on March 16.
Carter cleared 6’7” setting a new meet record, school record and personal record. He also automatically qualified for the Drake Relays exceeding the Blue Standard set of 6’6” for boy’s high jump.
