Two Bethany wrestlers advanced to the Missouri Regional A meet at Winnetoka high school after competing in the district 2 Missouri wrestling tournament that was held in Chillicothe last weekend.
The top six placeholders in each weight class move forward to regionals. Crae Coffey earned third place at U12 120 pounds, Lee Miles was the champion at U8 heavyweight. Both wrestlers will compete at Winnetoka this weekend with the top four advancing to the U8-U12 Missouri State Tournament.
Earlier in the season U6 heavyweight wrestler Treygan Burkhead was runner up at the U6 state meet. Treygan is the son of Mike and Katie Burkhead.
