Harrison County, MO: The World Horseshoe Pitching Championship tournament was held last month at the Monroe Civic Center in Monroe, Louisiana, from July 11 to July 23. There were a total of 649 pitchers from the United States, South Africa, Norway, and Canada that participated in the competition, but the spotlight was on 25 time Men’s World Champion, Alan Francis.
