McFall, MO: William E. (Billy) Luther, 60, of McFall, MO, passed away Friday, February 25th, 2022 at Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph, MO surrounded by family.
Billy was born January 17, 1962, in Cameron, MO, the son of Bill & Virginia (Dunlap) Luther.
On August 9th, 2013, he married Lisa A. Raines in Arkansas on his moms 91st birthday. Lisa survives of the home.
Billy married Regina Stevens years before and to that marriage a daughter was born named Jamie.
Billy worked on the wheat harvest and several different ranches doing what he loved the most, being outside and working with livestock. Billy was also a rodeo clown. Billy worked at MODOT until he retired.
After retirement, Billy enjoyed relaxing, enjoying life, telling jokes, hunting, and fishing. He was happiest when he was with HIS granddaughters, Kaitlynn and Abbie. The smile on his face would light up a room when they were around. Not only did he want to be married on his mom’s birthday but felt extremely blessed when Abbie was born on his anniversary as well as his moms birthday. Billy became very close to his great grandson Hayden and was looking forward to the birth of his second great grandson due in April 2022.
Billy was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Kay Luther, his nephew Jeffrey Luther, his parents, his mother-in-law Judith Edwards, and granddaughter Hadley A Billy Tucker.
In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by HIS three sons, Christopher (Lacy) Raines, Nathan (Latasha) Raines, and Andrew Raines. His nephew and niece of the home, Mayson and Khloe Edwards. Four grandchildren, Chase (Montana), Lanie, Kaitlynn and Abbie. His great grandson Hayden and one on the way. Brother Jerry (Rhonda) Luther, Sisters Barbara Luther, Debbie (Tom) O’Neil, Esther (Jerry) McIntosh, and Rose (Greg) Fenimore, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Billy has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. No services planned at this time per his final wishes.
