Harrison County, MO: We announce the passing of Trudy Pauline (Roberts) Taylor. She passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024 at McFall, Mo. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Dale A. and Imogene Roberts on April 8, 1945. She was a highly driven woman in her role as an executive housekeeper – paving the way for women in managerial positions in the hospitality industry. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Hornung; parents, Dale A. Roberts and Imogene (Gay) Roberts; sisters, Donna Ellen (Roberts) Wornall and Gay Kathleen Roberts. She is survived by her children, Wesley King (Laura) of Washom, TX and Gay Kenney (Scot) of Kansas City, Mo; grandchildren, Ashleigh O’Connell, Michael O’Connell, Tori King, Jaimie Foster (Seth), and Jared Read; great-grandchildren, Thomas O’Connell and Spencer King; sisters, Martha A. (Roberts) Poush (Rick) of Bucklin, Mo. and Dale Ruth (Roberts) Neas (Dave) of Bucklin, Mo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
