Eagleville, MO: Timothy “Leprechaun” Sweeney, 65, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on March 30, 2024 at Kansas City Hospice. He was surrounded by loved ones.
Tim was president of the local Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.) chapter. Tim was fondly known around the area as “The Boat Man.” Tim was also a United States Navy veteran. He proudly served his country from 1977 – 1992.
Tim is survived by his wife Christine Sweeney and grandchildren Ravenrein McClellan, Lucian Sweeney, and Kuval Sweeney all of the home. He is also survived by his children Timothy (Ashley) Sweeney, Michael (Heather) Sweeney, Joshua (Amber) Sweeney, Suzanna (Brandon) Uyeno, Thomas (Trish) Morrison, Rebecca Musser, and Heather (David) Walker; his brothers John Sweeney, William Sweeney, and Sean (Sarah) Sweeney; his sister Doreen Sweeney and his step-mother Kathy Sweeney.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Hariett Sweeney, his sister Patricia Sweeney, his brother James Sweeney, and his son Blake Morrison.
Tim left behind many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members who will greatly miss him.
A celebration of life will be held on April 20, 2024 at the Eagleville Youth Center in Eagleville, Mo. The family will receive friends and family from 10-11 a.m. with services to start at 11 a.m. Please come and share your fond memories of Tim. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family is asking for cash donations to help pay for final expenses as Tim was disabled and did not have life insurance.
