Princeton, MO: Theodore Junior Mlika, 87, formerly of Princeton, took his final journey March 22, 2023 at Daviess County Nursing & Rehab, Gallatin, Mo.

Junior began his journey of life on the morning of August 8, 1935 on a farm near Akron, Mo., to Ted and Roberta (Stoner) Mlika. Junior was raised on that farm and attended Akron Country School and then graduated from Cainsville in 1954.

In August of 1961 he married Nancy Colleen (Booth) and to this union 3 girls were born. They later divorced but remained friends until her death in January, 2018.

Junior farmed, raised hogs, hauled livestock and was a janitor for a short time. Junior moved to Cainsville to help take care of his Dad and then moved to Princeton where he lived for many years. One of the places he called home was Pearls Residential Care. He loved going out to Dale Hagan’s and visiting.

In March of this year his final move was to Gallatin.

He is survived by his daughters, Robin (Jimmie) Hunter of Jameson; Penny (Bill) Berwanger of Princeton; four grandkids, Preston (Emily) of Lineville; Nancy (David) Claycomb of Princeton; Calvin (Maggie) of Bethany and Ben of Princeton; four great grandkids, Barrett and Braxton of Lineville; SJ and Slade of Princeton and Bemie of Bethany.
