Independence, MO: Shirley Ann Parkhurst, 83, Independence, MO passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home.
She was born on July 20, 1935 in Eldon, Missouri the daughter of Tom and Opal Irene (Cornett) Baughman.
On November 17, 1956 she married Kenneth H. Parkhurst in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bill and Tom Baughman.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Pamela Mayse; granddaughter, Amanda Mayse; grandson, D.J. Mayse; great grandson, Luke Tittus; brothers, Charles Baughman and James (Linda) Baughman and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27 at Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery, Hatfield, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
