Sharon Kay Toombs, 69, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her home in Bethany, MO.
She was born November 28, 1946 in Albany, MO the daughter of Charles Max Stevens and Muriel (Hamilton) Stevens Yetter. They preceded her in death.
She graduated from Albany High School in 1964. On November 5, 1966 she married Gary Curtis Toombs. He preceded her in death on September 3, 2011.
She was employed for 20 years by Advanced Disposal and recently earned her 20 year pin for her years of service.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her step father, Guy “Shorty” Yetter; and 2 nephews, G. Kent Wilson and Curtis Perry.
Survivors include sons, Tim (Kristin) Toombs, Indianola, IA, Ragan (Cheryl) Toombs, Gilman City, MO; 4 grandchildren, Jill (Steve) Whitson, Indianola, IA, Mikayla, Bailey and Dawson Toombs; great grandchildren, Eden, Stella and Baya Whitson; sister, Donna (Gary) Wilson, Trenton, MO; nieces, Kandi (Cliff) Chaney, Lincoln, NE, Kim (Kent) Clower, Cameron, MO; and nephew, David Perry, Bethany, MO.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5 in Grandview Cemetery, Albany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
