Bethany, MO: Sandra Gale (Wilson) Stevens, of Bethany, MO passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on Friday, January 3, 2025 at a Hamilton, MO nursing home.
Sandra was born on December 27, 1955 in Missouri the daughter of Lewis and Mary Ann (Graham) Wilson. Sharing her birthday with her father, Sandra was the eldest of four siblings.
Sandra’s life was marked by her love for family and the outdoors. She welcomed her son, Jonathan Lee Stevens, on September 19, 1976, and devoted herself to raising him until his untimely passing on May 25, 2015.
Sandra later found love and companionship with Floyd Zuber, with whom she shared many cherished years until his passing on November 6, 2020.
Some of Sandra’s fondest memories were made during family vacations with Floyd and Jonathan. Together, they explored Tennessee, Wisconsin, South Dakota and North Dakota in their pickup truck and camper. Sandra had a passion for photography and delighted in capturing the beauty she encountered on these adventures. She also enjoyed weekends spent at the lake in Kirksville, Missouri, where her love for nature truly shone.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Mary Ann Wilson; her beloved son, Johathan Stevens; her soulmate, Floyd Zuber and her niece, Tiffany Baldwin.
She is survived by her brothers, Rickey Wilson (Tycene Wilson), Randy Wilson and Bobby Wilson; brother-in-law, Marlan Zuber; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will remember her with love. Sandra’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her adventurous spirit and deep love for family bring comfort to all who mourn her loss.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in the Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
