Rob and his twin sister, Robin, were born to Donald M and Sandra J (Ihnen) Kunch.
The family lived in Chariton, Iowa for one year, then moved to Derby, Iowa where they lived until the twins were 14. Rob enjoyed horseback riding and fishing and hunting with his cousins, uncles, and grandpas.
The family moved to the Ridgeway, Missouri in 1977. Rob graduated from Ridgeway high School in 1984.
Rob worked for the city of Bethany and the city of Gallatin as an electrician. On July 1, 2000, Rob became a member of the IBEW Local 53 Union as a journeyman-lineman until he retired in July 2021.
Rob enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and riding around in the ranger.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Arlene Ihnen, and Jack and Marjorie Kunch.
Rob is survived by his parents, Don Kunch, Waterloo, IA and Sandra Ihnen and companion, Charles Siddens, Bethany, MO; sister, Robin (Rick) Booth, Ridgeway, MO; girlfriend, Jill Peugh, Mt. Moriah, MO; nephews, Caleb Booth (Hanna), Ravenwood, MO, Mason Booth, St. Joseph, MO; step-daughter, Heather Holtmyer, Kansas City, MO; two step-granddaughters; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 17 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Yankee Ridge Cemetery, Ridgeway, MO.
