Richard Allen Watt, 76, Independence, Mo., passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at his home.
He was born on August 29, 1944 in Harrison County, Missouri the son of Chester L. and Wilda Kathleen (Olson) Watt.
On April 10, 1956, he married Sandra Davis in Bethany, Missouri. She survives of the home.
Richard served in the United States Army Reserve and was a maintenance foreman for United States Gypsom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a niece, Nicole Hirschman.
In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his daughter, Shellie (Shane) Barnett, of the home; son, Tony (Stephanie) Watt, New Mexico; grandchildren, Nicolas Barnett, Nathaniel Barnett, Colton Watt and Emma Watt; brothers, James (Rebecca) Watt, Des Moines, Iowa, Don (Mary Lou) Watt, Schertz, Texas; Nieces and nephews, Annette (James) Hensley, Andy (Staci) Watt, Ben (Jennifer) Watt, Sam (Alicia) Watt, Jesse (Tiffany) Watt, Don Jr. (Sherrie) Watt, Theresa (Norm) Fernandez, Terri (Chris) Banduch, Kelly (Staci) Freeman, Mickelle (Michael) Hirschman, Richard Jr. (Cathy) Hirschman, and Jimmy (Sherrie) Davis.
Funeral Services were January 2, 2021 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Burial in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Martinsville, Mo.
