BETHANY, MO: Phyllis Louise (Dykes) Swartz, 81, f Bethany, MO (formerly of Cainsville, MO) departed this life on Monday, June 5, 2017.
Phyllis was born on May 8, 1936 in Albany, MO the oldest child of Marion “Buster” and LaFayne (Warden) Dykes.
On April 22, 1956 Phyllis was united in marriage to Harold Gene Brejnik. To This union, 2 sons, Randall Gene and Rodney James Brejnik were born.
On January 15, 1975, Phyllis married Wilbur Lee Swartz.
Phyllis attended Albany High School and was an active member of Cainsville P.E.O.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Dykes; and husband, Wilbur.
She leaves behind her sons, Randy (Teresa) Brejnik, Rodney Brejnik and Amy Chandler; granddaughter, Brandi (Chad) Abbot; great grandchildren, Brycen Maggart and Talon Abbot; and many nieces and nephews.
The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Grandview Cemetery, Albany, MO.
