PATTONSBURG, MO: Peggy Teel Searcy, 78, Pattonsburg, MO passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at a Cameron, MO hospital.
She was born July 9, 1939 in Pattonsburg, MO the daughter of Wayne and Marjorie Faye (Severe) Shipers.
On June 30, 1957 she married J.C. Teel. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1995. She then married Lanny Searcy on January 17, 1997. He survives of the home.
Peggy was a graduate of Pattonsburg High School in 1957 and a member of the First Baptist Church of Pattonsburg, MO.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wayne “Sonny” Shipers; and great granddaughter, Everly Hulet.
Peggy is also survived by her children, Kristie (Randy) Hulet, McFall, MO, Jimmie Wayne (Brenda) Teel, St. Joseph, MO, Dianne (Greg) Kempf, Booneville, MO, Linda Gray and Debra Elder, both of Cameron, MO; sister, Kay Smelley, Brookefield, MO; brothers, Denny (Bev) Shipers, Pattonsburg, MO, Jim Shipers, Bethany, MO; sister-in-law, Margaret Shipers, Pattonsburg, MO; 2 aunts, Dixie Stasi and Dorothy Anderson both of Blue Springs, MO; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2 at the First Baptist Church, Pattonsburg, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, MO. Burial will follow in Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens, Pattonsburg, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 152, Pattonsburg, MO 64670.
