Kansas City, MO: Patricia Nunez, 79, Kansas City, Mo. (formerly of Martinsville, Mo.) passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Steve and Jennifer Eklund.
She was born on January 24, 1941 the daughter of Duane and Leola (Baker) Bartlett. She attended school and grew up in the Martinsville area.
Pat moved to Kansas City after graduating high school. She married, and to this union had four children, Jeff, John, Jennifer, and JoAnna.
Pat was an accomplished seamstress, creating wedding gowns to baby clothes. She enjoyed going with friends and family bargain shopping and sightseeing. She was a loving mother and caring friend.
She retired from Farmers Insurance and enjoyed retired life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Leola Bartlett and one brother, Jerry Bartlett.
Pat leaves behind her son, Jeff and wife, Angela Nunez and children, DJ Nunez and Meaghan (Ryan) Payne; son, John Nunez and wife, Anna Marie and children, Amy (John) Gunther, Alexis, Sophia, Isabella and Christian; daughter, Jennifer (Nunez) Eklund and husband, Steve and children, Madison, Mackenzie, and Reid; daughter, JoAnna Nunez and husband, Dan Swinney and children, Emma, Olivia, Sally, Elliot and Sean; sister-in-law, Florence Bartlett; brothers, Larry and Dianne Bartlett, Ted and Carol Bartlett and four great grandchildren.
Pat has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (today), July 29 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo.
