Opal M. Woodring, 69, formerly of Northwest, MO passed away June 12, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Springfield, MO.
She was born August 31, 1946 in Northwest, MO the daughter of Harold and Vena (Bowman) England. They preceded her in death.
On July 2, 1967 she married Michael R. Woodring in Pattonsburg, MO. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2006.
Opal was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Springfield, MO. She enjoyed being a mom and grandmom and her precious time with family. She also enjoyed soaps, game shows, the casino and scratcher tickets.
In addition to her husband and parents, Opal is preceded in death by her son, Steven Woodring and brother, Curtis England.
Survivors include daughter, Tammy (Wayne) Brinley, Springfield, MO; sons, Jeffery (Mari) Woodring and Brian Woodring, both of Cameron, MO; grandchildren, Troy, Julie, Christian, Caleb, Chanda, Autumn, Erin, Celeste; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Jairyn, Kasen, Jaxon; siblings, Luella Booher, Eldon (Patty), Roger (Kathy), Donnie and Lawrence (Shirley) England; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16 at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, MO. Burial will follow in Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens, Pattonsburg, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
