Ridgeway, MO: Norma Jean Medlin, 86, Ridgeway, MO passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at a Lamoni, IA nursing home.
She was born on July 29, 1935 in Unionville, Missouri the daughter of James Frue and Betsy Gladys (Chapel) Benson.
On May 20, 1953, she married Clinton Medlin. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2017.
Norma was a graduate of Unionville High School and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky Medlin; grandsons, Larry and Tony Jennings; sisters, Laura, Wilma, and Ruby and brothers, Buster and James.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Brenda Doolittle, Ridgeway, MO; sons, Jack (Waverly) Medlin, Ridgeway, MO, Larry Medlin, Camdenton, MO and Gary (Dawn) Medlin, Beggs, OK; grandchildren, Josh (Sara) Medlin, Todd (Terri) Jennings, Kelly (Jeff Cook) Parkhurst, Brian (Sheila) Jennings, Hank (Becky) Jennings, Truman (Jennifer) Doolittle, II, Mike Doolittle (Christina), Phillip Doolittle, Clint and Tara Medlin; 31 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Norma has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29 at the Church of Christ, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment will follow in Pherigo Cemetery, Unionville, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
