Bethany, MO: Nola Irena Henson, 94, Bethany, MO passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at a Bethany, MO nursing home.
She was born on September 13, 1928, in Chautaqua County, Kansas the daughter of Noel and Villa (Mullendore) Beck.
In June of 1946, she married Charles J. Henson in Howard, Kansas. He preceded her in death.
Nola was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bethany, MO, served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts, worked for National Bellas Hess Company, and enjoyed camping.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Aletha Call.
Nola is survived by her son, Larry (Kathy) Henson, Olathe, KS; granddaughters, Nicole, Angela (Peter), and Amanda (Pablo); great grandchildren, Dustin, Caroline, and Sage; and sisters, Dorothy Olds and Lois Chambers.
Nola has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. The family will hold a Celebration of Life and inurnment at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com
