Nadine Watts 77, of Gallatin passed away Saturday November 7, 2015 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening November 12th at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Viking Church, Gallatin First Christian Church or Kickin’ Cancer With Kindness in care of McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin.

Nadine was born November 5, 1938 in Maysville, MO to Virgil and Edna Merle (Royston) Taul. She attended Youngs Country School in Bridgeport and graduated from Bethany High School in 1957. After graduation Nadine started working as a dental assistant for Dr. Sutherland in Bethany. She was united in marriage to Bobby J. Watts January 5, 1958 in Bethany where the couple made their home. Two daughters were born to this union, Felicia and Sheila. In 1965 The Watts family moved to a farm South of Bethany. Nadine truly was a farm girl at heart and especially liked working with their Charlolais cattle and a Holstein named Sugar Plum. The couple divorced in 1988 and Nadine moved to St. Joseph, MO shortly after, and then in 1996 to Gallatin purchasing her parents home. Nadine spent most of her life cleaning houses. She took great pride in doing a good job and was always in demand because of her standard of excellence.

Nadine attended the Gallatin First Christian Church and Lake Viking Church. She enjoyed the fellowship she shared with her church family and was always eager to lend a helping hand when needed. Nadine loved to sing and dance she was truly an entertainer. She started karaoke night in Gallatin; always having a good time and making sure everyone did as well. No matter what was going on she always had time to care for her cats and dogs she loved her furry friends. Nadine could strike up a conversation with anyone and never met a stranger. Spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren gave her great pleasure. Nadine was an independent, unique, hardworking lady who enjoyed life to the fullest and had a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janice Elain Palmer and companion Harold Shopbell.

Nadine is survives by her sister, Linda Kay Edwards of Grand Junction, CO, daughters Sheila Robertson (Kenny) of Bethany, Felicia Siddens (Dean) of Bethany, 3 grandchildren, Christina, Ashley, and Martin and 3 great-grandchildren, Austin, Peyton, and Anna, many cousins, and a host of friends who many were more like an extended family.
