Mt. Moriah, MO: Mina J. Hickman, 85, of Mt. Moriah, Mo., passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at a Bethany, Mo. nursing home.
She was born October 16, 1939 in Trenton, Missouri the daughter of Edgar and Lake (Shipley) Power.
Mina married Robert E. Hickman and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1973.
She attended 8 years at the Country Battle Creek- Wooderson School and was a 1957 graduate of Mt. Moriah High School. She worked for 18 years as the storekeeper for Farmers Exchange in Mt. Moriah, Mo., and for 12 years as Post Office Clerk at the Cainsville Post Office.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #2176 and the American Legion Auxiliary, Cainsville, Mo. Mina was of the Methodist faith.
Mina was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Marcus E. Hickman; siblings, Eldon Power, Virginia Booth, Randall Power, Nadine Peugh and Charles Power and son-in-law, Steve Six.
Survivors include her significant other, Lonnie Wright, of the home; daughter, L. Christine Six of Elgin, OK; son, Edward W. (Kim) Hickman of Leon, KS; step-children, Stacy Miller and David Warren; 1 grandchild; three great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 7 step-great grandchildren; 1 step-great-great granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial was Monday, March 3 at Lloyd Cemetery, Mt. Moriah, Ml., under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo
