Maxine was born May 10, 1922 in Fort Morgan, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ivan; son: Kenneth; parents: Roscoe and Bertha (Floyd) Mercer; brother: Frank; friend: Marjorie Justice. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant No. 2 Baptist Church, Blythedale.
Survivors: Marvin Emerson, Albia, IA, Carolyn (Marvin) Richardson, Bethany, Sheryl (Larence) Jones, Bennett, CO; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
Services: 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Mt Pleasant No. 2 Baptist Church, Blythedale, Burial Cedar Hill Cemetery, Blythedale. Family visitation 6-8 pm Friday at Bethany Memorial Chapel.
