Bethany, MO: Lewis Marvin Casady, 79, Bethany, MO passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at his home.
He was born on June 28, 1941 in Bethany, Missouri the son of Ora Richard and Nina Bernice (Christopher) Casady.
In July of 1991, he married Carolyn Tanner in Ankeny, Iowa. She survives of the home.
Marvin was the owner and operator of Casady Motor and Implement. He was a lifelong resident of Bethany, MO. He was member of the First Christian Church of Bethany and served on the planning and zoning board for Bethany.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Marvin is also survived by his son, Pete (Missy) Madison, Chillicothe, MO; grandson, Colby Gillespie; granddaughter, Mecalia Thompson; great granddaughters, Harbor and Hazel; brothers, Robert (Sue) Casady, Bethany, MO, Bill (Linda) Casady, Marshalltown, IA; sister, Ann (Wayne) Moore, Lee’s Summit, MO; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and many, many friends. Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16 in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
