Margaret Christine “Christy” Chandler, 68, Cainsville, MO (formerly of Leon, Iowa) passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at a Bethany, MO hospital.
She was born July 8, 1952 in Cainsville, MO the daughter of Robert Dean “Copper” and Christine Mae (Wright) McLain.
On September 18, 1978, she married Jerry Leroy Chandler in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2014.
She worked for the Kansas City Credit Services for several years.
Christy was also preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Anthony Quinn; brothers, Jack, William Robert and Randal McLain; sister-in-law, Rosemary McLain; niece, Gina Maddox and infant niece, Kimberly.
Survivors include 10 brothers, Clifford “Lefty” McLain, Gary (Kathy) McLain, Jim (Sharon) McLain, Kenneth (Barb) McLain and Richard (Connie) McLain all of Cainsville, MO, Tom McLain, Kansas City, MO, Joe McLain and Rex (Brenda) McLain both of Cainsville, MO, Ed (Roxanne) McLain, Pleasant Valley, MO and Ronnie McLain, Lamoni, IA; sister, Dixie (Mark) Waddle, Cainsville, MO; sisters-in-law, Bessie McLain, Princeton, MO, Lila McLain, Cainsville, MO and Joan McLain, Kansas City, MO and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Christy has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Memorial Graveside Service and inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Zoar Cemetery, Cainsville, MO. There is no scheduled visitation.
