Lola Mae Parkhurst, 86, (formerly of Hatfield, MO) passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at her home in Wapello, IA.
She was born February 19, 1930 in Beaver, Oklahoma the daughter of Willie Muriel and Lillian Angeline (Hall) Tull. They preceded her in death.
On June 8, 1958 she married Cecil Parkhurst in Davis City, IA. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1999.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lola Mae is preceded in death by siblings, Bonnie Faye, Wyvonne, Willie Lee and Garry Lynn; and granddaughters, Marleana Massey and Savannah Bagby.
Survivors include daughters, Georgetta (Roger) Gilpatrick, Eagleville, MO, Ladwell (Dick) Rieks, Bethany, MO, Dretha (Wade) Watson, Wapello, IA, Millie (Kirk) Colter, Middletown, IA, Willie (Rolland) Bagby, Des Moines, IA, Leonda (Jeff) Frieden, Wapello, IA; son, Roger (Dee Dee) Parkhurst, Grandview, IA; sister, Leona Weddle, Bethany, MO, brothers, Glen Doyle (Judy) Tull, Charles (Illene) Tull, Mt. Ayr, IA; sisters-in-law, Donna Jean Parkhurst and Donna Tull, both of Eagleville, MO; 23 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7 at Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery, Hatfield, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
