Bethany, MO: Leroy William “Bill” Osmon, 93, of Bethany, Mo. passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at a Bethany, Mo. nursing home.
Bill was born February 19, 1931 in McFall, Missouri the son of Charles Lewis, Jr. and Mary M. (Judd) Osmon. He grew up in Harrison County, Mo.
On December 15, 1951, he married Janice Mae Glines in Cainsville, Mo. and to this union four children were born, Robert Cleon Osmon, William Richard Osmon, Katherine Lynn Osmon and Janet Mae Osmon. Janice preceded him in death on July 22, 1990.
Bill worked as a mechanic and farmed most of his life. He attended the First Baptist Church in Cainsville, MO and was Baptized on February 14, 1954.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Osmon; son, Robert Osmon; granddaughter, Candi Deneice Morgan; son-in-law, Rodney Rumley; daughter-in-law, Anita Osmon; brothers, Garvin Osmon and Edgar Osmon; sisters, Neva Feurt, Grace Osmon, Ruth Osmon and Ina Osmon.
Survivors include his children, Billy (Charlotte) Osmon, Katherine Rumley and Janet (Larry) Morgan; grandchildren, Alisha and Danny Lundberg, Amy and James McClure, Kenny and Micki Osmon, Elaina and Matt Doty, Katlynn and Dwight Stevens, Mandi and Mike Smith and Gabe and Dora Morgan; great-grandchildren, Chloe Smith, Gracie Smith, Olivia Morgan, Myla Morgan, Tori Kewi, Kylea Kewi, Remington Osmon, Madi Doty, Maci Doty, Dayton Stevens, Kyson Stevens, Jordon Bodyk, Journey and Austin Ottaway, Logan McClure, Gage McClure, Tallon Martin, Keither McClure and great-great granddaughter, Daphne Ottaway.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 21 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Cainsville, Mo.
