BETHANY, MO: Larry L. Cook, 75, of Bethany, MO (formerly of Eagleville, MO) passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Harrison County Community Hospital, Bethany, MO.
He was born March 11, 1941 in Eagleville, MO the son of Floyd Christopher “Toby” and Helen Lois (Wyant) Cook. They preceded him in death.
On February 16, 1978, he married Nancy Montgomery in California. She survives of the home.
Larry was a computer programmer for T.W.A in the 1960’s. He then moved on to program for Oppenheimer. Larry began farming in the 1970’s. From there, he worked as a traveling book salesman for Gumdrop Books. In 1989, he and Nancy opened their own business, Movie Express.
Larry was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Bethany Country Club Board, and Harrison County Community Hospital Board. He attended the Methodist Church in Eagleville as a young man.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Nancy, include daughter, Karen Cook and Ryan, Kansas City, MO; sons, Kyle Cook and Kelly, Lawrence, KS and Gavin Cook, of the home; granddaughter, Emma Eastin, Bethany, MO; brother, Roger (Jo Lynn) Cook, Dayton, IA; and mother-in-law, Beverly Montgomery, Bethany, MO.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Masonic Cemetery, Eagleville, MO.
