Cainsville, MO: Kathy Jean VonAllmen Wendt, 59, Cainsville, MO passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at a St. Joseph, MO hospital.
She was born June 4, 1957 the daughter of Waymon Gene and Harriet May (Peterman) VonAllmen.
Kathy was a 1975 graduate of West Plains High School in West Plains, MO. She was also a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Andrew Edward Wendt.
Survivors include her husband, Rex McLain of the home; 3 sons, Andy (Brittany) Wendt, Eldorado Springs, MO and John Wendt and Grady McLain both of Cainsville, MO; 4 grandchildren, Tehya, Braden, Rylee and Kaden and aunt, Colleen Wallace, Peoria, IL.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, at the First Baptist Church, Cainsville, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in the Zoar Cemetery, Cainsville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
