Camden Point, MO: Karen Jean Main, 78, Camden Point, MO (formerly of Des Moines, IA) passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at a Kansas City hospital.
She was born on July 27, 1941 in Walker, Iowa the daughter of Arthur and Leora May (Baker) McLey.
On May 23, 1959, she married Ronald Main. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2010.
Karen worked as a nurse’s aide for St. Luke’s for ten years as well as Spellman Hospital in Smithville for ten years. She was a member of the Nashua Church of Christ and Living History Ladies in Camden Point, MO.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Francis McLey and sister Opal Emmert.
Karen is survived by her sons, Tim (Vallorie) Main, Camden Point, MO and Vic (Annie) Main, California; sister, Lois Young, Valley Junction, IA; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 25 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery, Gilman City, MO.
