Eagleville, MO: Joy Ragan, 72, Eagleville, MO passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at her home.

   She was born on January 26, 1947 in Hatfield, Missouri the daughter of Clarence and Velma (Rinehart) James.

     On February 22, 1965, she married Larry D. Ragan in Mt. Ayr, Iowa. He survives of the home.

     Joy worked as the city clerk for Eagleville, MO. She was a member of the Eagleville Christian Church, CWF Sociables Club and also served on the North Harrison Ambulance Board.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in infancy and brother-in-law, Neil Ragan.

     Joy is also survived by her daughter, Traci (Lonny) Lane; son, Troy (Julie) Ragan; grandchildren, Dylan (Holly) Parkhurst, Akaysha (Ben) Diekman, Zachary Ragan, Drew Parkhurst (Sadie), Clay Parkhurst, Aubrey Ragan, Amy (Matt) Maize, Andrew (Cassie) Lane, Jon (Carrie) Lane; great grandchildren, Keegan Parkhurst, Benson Parkhurst, Madisyn Lisle, Maci Lisle, Trevor Lisle, Maya Maize, Jayse Cracraft, Adrian Cracraft, and Axel Lane; sisters, Peg Wilburn, Bonnie Reed, Mary Ury (Connie) and Katy Campbell, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Paula) Ragan and Jim (Becky) Ragan.      Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at the Eagleville Christian Church, Eagleville, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Allen Cemetery, Eagleville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
