Ridgeway, MO: Josh Woodrow Weller, 47, Ridgeway, MO passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at University of Kansas Medical Center.
He was born on July 10, 1971 in Bethany, Missouri the son of Jim and Jeanne (Champlin) Weller.
Josh was a graduate of Ridgeway High School in 1989. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ridgeway, MO. He worked as a farmer for Dale Farming Company where he was affectionately known as “J-Dub” and raised cattle and hay with his brother. He loved trout fishing at Bennett Spring, playing cards with the guys, old antique tractors, and a true love for farming in general and being outdoors. He enjoyed all of his nieces and nephews sporting events and rarely missed a game.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, O.W. and Edith Weller, Gilbert and Vesta Champlin, and uncles, Roger Weller and Larry Joe Champlin.
Josh is survived by his parents, Jim and Jeanne Weller, Ridgeway, MO; twin sister, Jolie Fitzpatrick; brother, Jesse (Becky) Weller; nieces, Anna and Sarah Fitzpatrick; nephews, Caeleb Sutton and Maesen Weller and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 1 at the United Methodist Church, Ridgeway, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ridgeway, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
