Bethany, MO: John Paul Updegraff, 79, Bethany, Mo., passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at a Bethany, Mo. hospital.
He was born on February 11, 1944, the son of Lewis Lloyd and Doris (Todhunter) Updegraff.
John was baptized on May 3, 2009. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Gallatin. He worked for Updegraff Cycle and Body and AAA Seamless Guttering. He loved fishing and spending time with his puppy dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lewis and Gary Jo and a sister, Patricia Wright.
John is survived by his sons, Ronnie and Jimmie Updegraff both of Bethany, Mo.; sister-in-law, Annie Updegraff, St. Joseph, Mo., and many nieces and nephews.
John has been donated to the Medical Program at A.T. Still University. The family will hold graveside services and inurnment in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, Mo., at later date.
