Helen L. Booth, 93, of Kearney, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016, following a brief illness. Helen was a housewife, school cook, and enjoyed living on the farm in Cainsville, MO most of her life. She also enjoyed playing cards, sewing, quilting and visiting with her friends. Helen was a member of the First Christian Church in Kearney.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior; infant son; and two brothers. Survivors include her son, Larry Booth (Marie); three grandchildren, Michael Booth (Lisa), Scott Booth; and Pamela Novak (Mike); five great grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Kevin, Jared and Parker.
Visitation will begin at 10 am, followed by services at 11 am, on Friday, October 21, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Graveside services will follow at 3 pm at St. Paul Cemetery, located northwest of Princeton (Mercer County), MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church of Kearney.
