Goldie Irene (Anderson) Lowe, 83, Gilman City, Mo., passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at a Bethany, Mo. nursing home.
She was born on February 15, 1937 to Cecil and Ethel (Williamson) Anderson. She attended Ridgeway School until her senior year when the family moved and she graduated from Bethany.
On December 24, 1955, she married Charles Lowe. The couple had two daughters, Sherry Black and Carla Kralicek.
She was a member of Melbourne Baptist Church.
Goldie worked at Gilman School for 37 years as well as being a farmer’s wife, mother and grandmother. Grandma Goldie was a loyal Gilman City Hawks Fan. She loved watching her grandkids play sports. It was a very rare occasion that you wouldn’t see her in the stands cheering on the kids.
Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles; brother, Glenn; sisters, Joanne and Georgia and son-in-law, Gary.
Survivors include her brother, Larry (Betty) Anderson; sister-in-law, Carole Gibson; daughters, Sherry (Dale) Black and Carla Kralicek; grandchildren, Brent (Tracy) Burke, Lindy (Lonnie) Saul, Corby (Louie) Lyons, Bradley Burke; great grandchildren, Megan (Brice) Groom, Macy Saul, Riley Wideman, Ryker Lyons, Ericka, Alli, Tenley, and Brylan Burke and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were November 14 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Gilman City, Mo.
