Eagleville, MO: Frederick A. Frank, 87, Eagleville, MO (formerly of Springfield, OH) passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at a Bethany, MO nursing home.
He was born on August 26, 1931 in Dover, Ohio the son of Fred A. and Gladys (Denzer) Frank.
Fred was an optician for over 20 years and then went on to own and operate his own trucking company. He was a member of the Trinity Christian Church of Decatur City, Iowa and served as a city councilman for Eagleville, MO. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling, loved to hunt and also enjoyed boating and water skiing in his younger years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Kay.
Fred is survived by his son, Robin (Debbie) Frank, Hatfield, MO; daughter, Amy Lynn (Michael) Young, Elk Grove, CA; grandchildren, Andy Frank, Chad (Sara) Frank, Shannon (Nicki) Frank, Nick and Evangeline (Young) Freathy, Eric and Amanda (Young) Behn, Rebekah (Scott) Scoville and Amity (Nzube) Okemiri and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 5 at the Eagleville Christian Church, Eagleville, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Private burial will be held in Weaver Chapel Cemetery, Hatfield, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the church.
