Pattonsburg, MO: Donald Frankie Sweat, 67, of Pattonsburg, MO passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at a St. Joseph, MO hospital.
He was born November 18, 1956 in Jamesport, Missouri the son of Frankie and Mae (Etchison) Sweat.
On March 20, 1992, he married Karen Moss in Pattonsburg, MO. She survives of the home.
Don studied at Chillicothe Vo-Tech. He had worked as a mechanic technician at Gallatin Truck and Tractor and Fordyce Equipment. He was also a heavy-duty mechanic at Midway Truck Center.
Don was a member of the Pattonsburg Lions Club in Pattonsburg, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother and brother, Jimmie R. Sweat.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Karen, are his niece, Jo Beth (Brent) Bowman; nephew, Jamie (Kay) Sweat; great-niece, Elisa (Brandon) Frakes; great-nephew, Kurt Bowman; sister-in-law, Pamela Sweat and brother-in-law, David Moss.
Graveside Service and Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Pattonsburg, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, MO.
