Dennis R. Briggs, 1954-2018
CAINSVILLE, MO: Dennis R. Briggs, 63, Cainsville, MO passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his home.
He was born August 11, 1954 in Harrison County, Missouri the son of Denver Lee and Wilma E. (Baker) Briggs.
On April 25, 1991 he married Vicki Bears in Pleasanton, Iowa. She survives of the home.
Dennis was a member of Andover Community of Christ Church. He loved to ride horses and participated in team roping. HE enjoyed hunting and fishing and took an annual elk hunting trip to Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Curtis Lee and Scotty Briggs.
Dennis is also survived by his 3 daughters, Denise Trollinger, Oklahoma, Joy Cheatum, Kansas, and Kristina Wears, Garden City, Kansas; son, Eric (Kiley) Briggs, Spickard, MO; step-son, John (Michelle) Williams, Cainsville, MO; 2 brothers, Leroy (Kay) Briggs, Blythedale, MO, Danny (Jennifer) Briggs, Ulysses Kansas; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12 at Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Cainsville, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Harrison County Cancer Transportation Fund and/or Fairview Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
