Bethany, MO: Deborah “Debbie” Diane Cox, 59, passed on May 27, 2018 at 11:50 PM at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Debbie was born May 26, 1959 in Bethany, Missouri; she was the daughter of Gwendolyn J. (Robertson) Turcott and Eldon L. Dunkeson.
Debbie was the owner & operator of Debi’s Baskets & More, a consignment store in Eldon, MO for the past 10 years. Anyone who visited the store quickly became a friend as Debbie never knew a stranger. Prior to her business, Debbie and O’Dell were foster parents for 21 years helping hundreds of children. Their marriage of 42 years has been an inspiration.
Debbie loved Christmas, and made sure it was special for everyone. She also loved birthdays and insisted that we all had a birthday cake every year no matter what age. She had a passion for life and a love of people like no one else. She gave everything to others and glory to God for all her blessings, never asking for anything in return. We know this is why God had to call his angel home. We love you Mom.
