BETHANY, MO: Clarence V. Glenn, 84, Bethany, MO (formerly of Gilman City, MO) passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at a Bethany, MO nursing home.
He was born February 14, 1933 in Ridgeway, MO the son of Vernon and Mabel (Morris) Glenn.
On December 8, 1956 he married Joan Graham at Mt. Zion Church in New Hampton, MO. She survives of the home.
Clarence served in the United States Army. He was a Trustee for Fox Creek Township, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Bethany and had served as treasurer for the Mt. Pleasant #1 Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a general contractor and enjoyed woodworking and gardening in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Clinton “Spanky” Starmer; sister-in-law, Reva Glenn; and brother-in-law, Wayne Buzzard.
Clarence is also survived by his sons, Daniel Glenn, Trenton, MO, Raniel (Angela) Glenn, Bethany, MO, Samuel (Karen) Glenn, Trenton, MO; daughter, Regina (Justin) Glenn-Cash, Shawnee, KS; brothers, Clark Glenn, Carl (Martha) Glenn, both of Bethany, MO; sister, Annie Buzzard, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 9 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church and/or Compassus Hospice in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
