St. Joseph, MO: Carolyn W. Percell, 87, St. Joseph, MO (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at her son’s home in St. Joseph, MO.
Carolyn was born September 12, 1931 in Harrison County, Missouri the daughter of Basil and Edra (Beeks) Ward.
On March 2, 1951, she married Wayne Clifford Percell. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Allen Ward.
Carolyn was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ.
Survivors include 4 sons, Jerry (Faith) Percell, Erie, CO, Dean (Lynn) Percell, Bethany, MO, Keith (Jennifer) Percell, St. Joseph, MO and Warren (Lisa) Percell, Camden Point, MO; daughter, Sharon (Dallas) Payne, Clinton, AR; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Percell, Knoxville, TN; sister-in-law, Norma Ward, Grandview, MO and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 8 at the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in the Andover Cemetery, Blythedale, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Andover Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
