Carol Sporleder 68 (Pawnee Area) went home to be with the Lord Month December 17, 2017.
Daughter of Florence and Herbert Klepp, Carol was born in Cheektowaga, N.Y. Feb. 11, 1949. She grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburg, Pa., moving to Chula Vista, Calif., in 1980 where she met and married the love of her life Charles Sporleder on January 24, 1981.
Carol was a homeschool teacher for her great nephew for grades 4 – 12 and also volunteered her time to visit the residents at Crestview Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch, decorating and living a quiet life in what she called her, “private park,” NW of Eagleville, Mo.
Preceded in death by both parents, Carol leaves behind her adoring husband Charles; her niece, Laura Thibodeau; great nephew, Christopher Thibodeau and his bride Sierra, all of St. Joseph, Mo., and family in Idaho City, Idaho; a sister, Joan Thibodeau, as well as nephews, Jay Thibodeau and Jory Jackson.
No services are scheduled and the family has arranged a private cremation.
