Bobby Lee Thompson, 79, Hamilton, Mo., passed away on January 8, 2016, in St. Joseph.
Bobby was born on October 18, 1936, in Hamilton, to Sam and Reva Thompson. He had worked in the past at Lake City Ammunition, and had been a truck driver. He retired from Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Hamilton as a Maintenance Supervisor.
He was a member of the Hamilton Baptist Church.
On May 5, 1957, he married Sharon Simkins at the Kidder Baptist Church, Kidder. She preceded him in death in 2015. He was also preceded by his parents; brother-William Thompson; and brother-in-law, Rollie Frazier.
Survivors: Daughter-Brenda Spence, Bethany, Mo; 3 grandchildren-Bryce Spence (Taren), Davidson, NC; Whitney Kelley (Justin), Springfield, Mo.; and Christopher Spence, Bethany; 3 great-grandchildren-Brantley and Reagan Spence and a baby on the way; Sister-Cleta Frazier, Parkville, Mo.; and Sister-in-Law, Nadine Thompson.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Interment: Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.
