Bethany, MO: Bettie Louise Christie, 82, Bethany, MO passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at a Cameron, MO hospital.
She was born on July 5, 1937 in Gentry County, Missouri the daughter of Wayne Rex and Marie (Woollums) Campbell.
On November 25, 1956, she married Robert K. Christie in Lone Star, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1995.
Bettie ran her own beauty salon called Christie’s Beauty Salon for many years.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lewis Jr. “Buzz” Campbell.
She is survived by her sons, Robin (Anita) Christie, Bethany, MO and Randy Christie, Chillicothe, MO; daughter, Regina Long, Bethany, MO; grandchildren, Lynnsey Betz (Daniel) Bethany, MO, Jessica Long (Philip) Bethany, MO, Hali Christie (Ian) Columbia, MO, Samantha Christie (Dillon) Trenton, MO and Jillian Long, Bethany, MO and great grandchildren, Harley Parkhurst, Trenton, MO, Layne Hamilton, Trenton, MO, Blaze Betz, Bethany, MO and Brionna Wray, Ashland, MO.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery, New Hampton, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
