BETHANY, MO: Benny Michael Irvin, 72, of Bethany, MO passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Missouri State Veteran’s Home, Cameron, MO.
He was born September 7, 1944 in Bethany, MO the son of Benjamin and Betty Jean (Ballard) Irvin.
On November 13, 1965 he married Mary Black in Bethany, MO. She survives of the home.
Mike grew up in Bethany and graduated from South Harrison High School in 1962. He was employed by Pettijohn’s Auto Center in Bethany until he retired in September, 2013.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Betty Irvin and his oldest son, Michael Thad Irvin.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Mary, include his son, Travis Irvin; brother, Mark (Joan) Irvin; and five grandchildren, Morgan, Emma, Molly, Jazmyn, and Thaden.
Memorial Services with Military Rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
