Blythedale, MO: Barbara Lee Jones, Blythedale, Missouri, went to be with the Lord, February 6, 2022 in Cameron, Missouri. Barbara was born May 28, 1939 to Lucille (Tunnell) Collins in rural Daviess County. She was a beautiful woman with a kind and compassionate heart for others. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren and was always there to help them with anything they needed. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She spent many hours crocheting afghans and making quilts for friends and family. She loved traditional country music and enjoyed listening to her children and grandchildren sing and play.
Barbara accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior when she was 52 years old after watching a Billy Graham crusade and has had the assurance of her place in Heaven ever since. Her genuine kindness and compassion will live on forever.
Barbara was preceded in death by her Mother; Sisters: Judy Welden, Sue Fitzgerald and one brother: John Collins. She is survived by her children: daughter: Heather Hullinger, Kansas City, son: Ernie (Pennie) Jones, Cainsville; Son-in-law: Junior Hullinger, Winston; Sister: Penny Collins, Cameron; brothers: Garland Collins, Cameron and Tim (Roena) Collins, Bethany; Grandchildren: Jacob Hullinger, Ryan Jones, Emma Jones, Hannah Hullinger. Many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been provided by Bethany Memorial Chapel. A memorial service was held on February 10, 2022 at Bethany Memorial Chapel. Tributes may be left at www.bethanymemorialchapel.com
