COFFEY, MO: Alfred N. “Red” Kinzie, 80, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at his home in Coffey, MO.
He was born July 10, 1935 the son of Edward and Ruth (Simpson) Kinzie. They preceded him in death.
On January 8, 1965 he married Helen Lynn Stewart in Papillion, Nebraska. She survives at home.
Alfred worked as a truck driver for several years.
In addition to his parents, Alfred is preceded in death by a daughter, Michele McMahon; 2 sisters, Shirley Zabka and Joyce Anderson; and a brother, David Kinzie.
Survivors in addition to his wife are sons, Chris Hughs and Les Hughs, Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Chase and Cole Hughs, Omaha, NE, Lindsay Stein, Omaha, NE, Rhiannon Riley, Coffey, MO; brothers, Don Kinzie, Coffey, MO, Kenny Kinzie, Wilbur, NE, Bill Kinzie, Omaha, NE, Bob Kinzie, Washington; and sister, Ruby Morris, Columbus, NE.
Alfred has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment will be at a later date in Coffey Cemetery, Coffey, MO.
