Bethany, MO: Aileen Gray, 92, Bethany, MO (formerly of Des Moines, IA) passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at her home.
She was born on October 26, 1928 in Kellerton, Iowa the daughter of Ray and Verda Mae (Baker) Bowen.
On June 8, 1946, she married Kenneth Lee Gray in Kansas. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1980.
Aileen was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-East Gate Des Moines, Iowa Chapter. She attended Eagleville Christian Church and was an avid quilter and enjoyed reading and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bernetta Smith; sister-in-law, Genie Bowen, and brother-in-law, Bill Smith.
Aileen is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Michael) Mamminga, Des Moines, IA; son, Paul (Deanna) Gray, West Des Moines, IA; brother, Ray Bowen, Jr., Bethany, MO; grandchildren, Matthew, Jason and Adam Mamminga, Karen Hardisty and Alex Gray; great grandchildren, Mason, Hunter, Brianna Mamminga, Winchester and Axel Gray, Hannah and Nora Hardisty, Leah Mamminga, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5 at the Eagleville Christian Church, Eagleville, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Eagleville, MO. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Blythedale, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
